Cowal entries - 24 March

We have been advised by the office of Cowal Gathering that entry forms for this years dancing competitions will be accepted from 12 noon (GMT) on Monday 24th March.

This year, for the first time, Cowal will be running a trial in event 11 where the dancing order will be decided by a ballot after the closing date rather than the more usual "first to enter last to dance" principal. The success of this trial will be reviewed post event.

Scotlands dancers succeed in Oz

At the Australian Commonwealth Championships, 30th March 2008, Scottish dancers swept the boards.
The under 13 yrs championship was won by Anthea Bundy and the Adults was won by World Champion David Wilton. Congratulations to both of them.
