Ross Armour Ross Armour - England

    Age started dancing and reason?
I began dancing when I was 3. This was mainly because my mum was a dance teacher and had a class.

    Current Teacher?
Elaine Skelding (my mum)/ Carol Ann Begg.

    Competitive highlights?
My biggest highlight has got to be winning the 12 years scottish championship at cowal in 2004.

    Favourite competition?
I have 2. Cowal and Aberfeldy games.
Cowal because it's a great weekend and the atmosphere is terrific.
Aberfeldy because at the end of the competition they have a race for all the dancers who competed that day.For 2 years in a row I have won the race!

    Non-competitive highlights?
I danced in August 2003 at Harrods store in London. They had a scottish day to promote their goods and asked for some pipers and dancers to come along. We saw lots of famous people there.

    Favourite dance & reason?
Seann truibhas because that's the one I got my first Cowal medal for.

    Funniest dancing memory?
When I got my new outfit my hat was a bit big for me. One day I was doing the swords at an outside games and my hat started to slip down over my eyes. By the time I got to the end of the dance the hat was right over my eyes so I couldn't see the sword and I kicked them!
