    Rebecca Thow Rebecca Thow - Scotland

    Age started dancing and reason?
    I began dancing when I was 3. I had so much energy my mum thought that channeling my energy into dancing would be a good idea.

    Current Teacher?
    Rosaline Hendry Ellon school of dance.

    Competitive highlights?
    Winning my pre-championship at Dundee when I was nine and the following year winning my first championship at the same place.

    Favourite competition?
    Cowal - Worlds

    We all go down to Dunoon and stay in a caravan from the Thursday untill the Sunday.The whole atmosphere is great and you really try your best.We then stay to watch the finals on the Saturday and then see all the pipe bands coming into the arena afterwards.The fireworks at the end of the night are brilliant.

    Non-competitive highlights?
    My friend and I danced at this big castle in front of Americans and other foreign people. We danced the Blue Bonnets, Hornpipe, Fling and the Seann Triubhas, It was great fun. I also like dancing for old people in old folks homes.

    Favourite dance & reason?
    I like the reel the best because I enjoy dancing with the other dancers.

    Funniest dancing memory?
    Nothing that I can remember at the moment but I am sure it won't be long before something happens!
