Angela Ramsay Angela Ramsay - Scotland

    Age started dancing?
    5

    Why did you start?
I started because my mum asked me if I wanted to dance and I said yes.

    First teacher & current teacher?
    1st teacher - Wilma Forman

    Current Teacher - Elizabeth Low

    Competitive highlights?
When i first qualified for the worlds the first time when i was twelve and then the following year when i won my first championship. Also coming 5th overall in the Junior World Championship in 2004.

    Favourite competition?
This would have to be cowal and also scotdance.

    Why is this your favourite?
Cowal because this is what I work for every year and also scotdance because I get the chance to travel and dance in another country.

    Non-competitive highlights?
Dancing in my schools dance shows and also dancing for old people in old peoples homes as if is a good feeling seeing a smile on their face because they have enjoyed your dancing.

    Favourite dance & reason?
My favourite dance is the fling I don't really know why I just like it and enjoy dancing it.

    Funniest dancing memory?
When going to scotdance Canada this year (2004) four of us decided to do the cakewalk and so we had to take two cake walk hats over with us. When changing terminals in Toronto airport we had to get on a bus. When the bus was leaving our dancing teacher was more concerned wether or not her cake walk hats were on the bus than if we were!
